The Alabama Department of Corrections and the Department of Public Safety commissioned the design of this complex. It consists of 6 total buildings: a multipurpose gymnasium; a two story building to contain a cafeteria which can accommodate approximately 200 people, and a formal auditorium to hold approximately 250 people; 2 dormitories, each with 150 person capacity (two persons per room); and 2 administrative/academic buildings.
